I’m an experienced electrical engineer, project manager and business development leader with a demonstrated history of working in the electric and gas industry. I’m skilled in program/project management, project execution, communications, grid modernization and automation, networks, data analysis, electrical engineering and all aspects of sales, from project development through execution. Throughout my nearly 10 years in the industry, I’ve worked extensively with utility clients throughout the United States and I’ve developed expertise in telecommunications, substation networks, IEC 61850, substation automation, program management and cyber security standards. My project portfolio includes grid upgrades and modernization, substation automation and communications, and cyber security policy and procedure development. I’ve also served as project manager on the largest grid improvement project in the state of Maine’s history – the $1.4 billion Maine Power Reliability Program for Central Maine Power. I rely on my experience to guide clients to innovative and cost-effective solutions that address their unique needs. As the Business Development Director for Burns & McDonnell’s new office in the United Kingdom, responsible for corporate strategy and development of new and existing business opportunities in the United Kingdom. Our team is adept at the types of investment and technology deployment needed to support the disruptive challenges facing the electric utility industry in the UK, including renewable energy interconnections, energy storage, grid modernization and the shift to a bi-directional energy flow grid.
